Help Desk Support Specialist

We are looking for an Help Desk Support Specialist to support our Torrance, CA office


  • Performing maintenance and problem resolution on Windows and Apple computers.
  • Understanding of  VoIP systems, how to add/remove users, call routings, setup new IVR.
  • Monitoring systems performance and proactively making recommendations for improvements.
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware and software and executing hardware upgrades.
  • Setting up new computers by imaging or cloning.
  • Manage Active Directory and groups in Windows Server 2016.
  • Support outside offices using our remote software.
  • Educating end users on new technologies and systems.
  • Ability to handle larger projects which will require managing contractors like camera system installs, or warehouse configurations that require new wiring.
  • Understanding of firewall rules and methodology.
  • Responding to emails in a upbeat, timely, professional manner using proper grammar and writing skills.
  • A keen ability to multitask without losing sight of our core ideals.
  • Basic knowledge of VMWARE and virtual servers.
  • Understanding of DHCP, DNS and standard network terminology.
  • Understanding of print servers.
  • Keep server room organized.
  • Keep storage/parts closet organized.
  • Purchasing of new computers, parts and toner.
  • Previous experience with an ERP like NetSuite or Sales Force.
  • Understand basic business structures. How an order flows through a system and it gets to the customer.


  • College experience (computer science/ business IT) or certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience
  • Must be reachable during off hours
  • Excellent written (grammar) and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform due diligence before acting on a situation
  • Ability to learn new software easily.
  • HTML, CSS, or JavaScript are a plus
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce are a plus.
